SMS Opt-In Process & Evidence

Company: MCL Talent Partners Platform: Indeed / SMS Recruiting Workflow

Overview

This page provides evidence of the affirmative opt-in process used by MCL Talent Partners to obtain consent for SMS communications, as required for A2P 10DLC compliance.

Step 1: Initial Candidate Contact (Indeed)

When a candidate applies for a position, we initiate contact through the Indeed Messaging portal. We do not send a text message until the candidate has provided explicit consent within this secure environment.

The following message is sent to the candidate:

"Hi {CANDIDATE_FIRST_NAME}! Thanks for applying for the {JOB_TITLE} role. This is Jen with MCL Talent Partners. Would you like to receive next step updates by text message? Reply YES to opt in or NO to decline. If you reply NO, we will reach out by phone instead. If you reply YES, please confirm your best mobile number. Reply STOP to opt out of texts."

Step 2: Visual Evidence of Consent

Step 3: SMS Disclosure & Compliance

At the time of opt-in on the Indeed platform, candidates are informed of the following:

  • Purpose: Messages are for recruitment and application updates only.

  • Opt-out: Candidates can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

  • Help: Candidates can reply HELP for assistance.

  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply.

  • Privacy: Mobile information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Step 4: Verification of Business Identity
